A coffee shop is moving into a vacant unit at the Swindon Designer Outlet.
At the moment, Costa Coffee has two serving and seating areas in the middle of the public concourse near the west and north entrances of the Rodbourne retail destination.
On the western side of the Outlet, hoardings now cover unit five – which is next to clothing company Guess and directly facing the small ‘outside’ seating section where customers currently enjoy a cuppa.
It appears that this Costa will soon be moving from that spot into a proper coffee shop with more space and facilities.
Signs around Costa’s next location promise that “something exciting is stirring” and that “we’re brewing something new”. It will be open “soon” but no exact date has been revealed.
This unit has been empty for several weeks and previously housed a gifts and accessories shop.
This latest change to the Outlet's layout follows the opening of surfwear brand Saltrock and secondhand luxury fashion retailer Sign of the Times.
House of Cavani has also been announced to be joining the range of brands and shops at Swindon's McArthur Glen site.
