As Swindon welcomed and said farewell to Prince William earlier today, one question many are asking is, where is his wife Kate Middleton?
They are often seen hand in hand at their public engagements across the country and abroad - but not today when the heir did his whistlestop tour of the town.
The Princess of Wales was last seen publicly two days ago in Sittingbourne in Kent.
She was on a royal engagement visiting The Orchards, a centre for children with special educational needs and their families.
But since then, the Princess hasn't made an appearance publicly, so we can only assume that she is back with her children at Kensington Palace.
Other media outlets are reporting she has turned down other engagements in the coming weeks.
It has been reported that she will not attend her husband Prince William's Earthshot Awards ceremony this year because she wants to be at home to support Prince George during his exams.
The 41-year-old will not travel to Singapore in November, with the Daily Mail reporting that she will stay home with eldest son George, 10, and his siblings Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, at the family residence in Windsor.
According to the Royal Editor at the Mail, 'Prince George has exams that week and she wants to be at home to support him.'
