A man has been hospitalised after he was stabbed in a residential Swindon street.
Police rushed to reports of a stabbing in Linden Avenue, just off the B4006 Whitworth Road in Pinehurst, at around 7am on Sunday, October 1.
A man in his 20s was taken to hospital to be treated for wounds which are not thought to be life threatening or life changing.
One person has now been arrested in connection with the incident.
32-year-old Michael Gibson, of Whitworth Road, has been charged with criminal damage and use of threatening language or behaviour.
In the hours after the stabbing, an increased police presence was in place in the area.
During this time officers conducted house to house and CCTV enquiries, while foot patrols were also increased in the surrounding streets.
Gibson is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court on October 18.
