Police are searching for a suspected shoplifter after a theft from a village shop on the outskirts of Swindon.
The alleged theft took place at the Blunsdon Community Shop on June 9, just months after the community shop had reopened at a new site.
Police are now searching for an individual in connection with this incident.
A CCTV image of a man with dark hair, wearing blue jeans and a black t-shirt, has been released.
Police are urging anybody who recognises this individual to come forward.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We have released a CCTV image of a man we would like to speak to in connection with a suspected theft at the Blunsdon Community Shop in Swindon on 9 June.
“If you recognise the male pictured, please call us on 101 and quote crime reference number 54230063046.
“Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.”
