A man suspected of carrying a firearm has been arrested in Swindon.
Armed police, police dogs and a police helicopter descended on Meadowcroft Road, Swindon on Friday morning.
Locals reported seeing a man in bare feet being taken away by officers, placed in handcuffs and then driven away from the scene.

Wiltshire Police has now confirmed that a man in his 40s was arrested 'on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.'
A spokesperson said: "Officers attended an address in Burns Way, Upper Stratton, Swindon at about 8.40am [on Friday] following a report of a man with a suspected firearm.
"Armed officers were deployed with the police helicopter in support.
"There were no reported injuries."
The suspect is now currently in police custody.
Wiltshire Police has now cordoned off Burns Way as a crime scene, with members of the public blocked from accessing it, so that they can carry out examinations of the area.
A witness who did not want to be named said: "I went to go and have a look at what was going on and I saw armed police and then a man barefoot being marched down to a police car from Burns Close.
"He stood at the police car for about 10 minutes, and then was put in handcuffs and taken away."
