It is that time of the year again when families go trick or treating and horror films are being shown on the TV and cinema.
From fancy dress to spooky house decorations, many people in the country will be aiming to celebrate Halloween in style once more this year.
With less than two weeks to go until October 31, the Swindon residents who celebrate the holiday will be looking for the best places to get their scary loot.
Look no further than the town’s newest megastore, Home Bargains on Great Western Way, which opened in August.
Here is the Halloween haul we managed to pick up there for under £10:
Danger sign (£1.29 spent)
The danger sign is the biggest item on the list in terms of sheer size and is the perfect warning to place outside your home.
Gripped by a plastic skeleton’s hand, the sign spells out a clear message to anyone who dares step further.
Whether you want to engage in Halloween decorations or you simply just want to ward off pesky trick-or-treaters, the sign is a steal at £1.29.
Pumpkin lights necklace (£1.69 spent)
Stylishly modelled by Adver reporter Ed Burnett below, the pumpkin necklace gives you the perfect chance to light up your Halloween.
With batteries included, you can switch on the pumpkins as soon as you step out of the store and improve your wardrobe immediately.
The necklace has three functions from fast to slow flashing as well as a constant light setting.
Colour your own witch (£1.99 spent)
The most creative product on our Halloween list is undoubtedly the colour your own witch.
The witch is made from stress ball material and allows the user to take out their devilish rage out on a seasonal item.
The product is not one dimensional though as owners can colour in the witch with the provided felt tips before squeezing it.
Spider’s web bowl (1.29 spent)
We have made sure that all bases are covered on this list and we have not forgotten about Halloween parties.
Many parties at this time of year, especially those with families, will have food present as people meet up to enjoy the holiday.
This bright orange bowl, shaped like a spider’s web ticks off both the aesthetic and practical aspects needed for such an event.
Crisps, treats or even tricks can all be held in the container which also comes in black.
Ghost wax burner (£1.49 spent)
One of the more charming and quaint items on the list, the ghost wax burner allows the October aura to scent up your home.
The ceramic ghoul has cavities allowing both a candlelight and wax to be used and Halloween smells to enter your room.
Wax is not included in the package but the ghost alone makes for a cute and festive light nonetheless with or without the scent.
Pumpkin bath bomb (£0.99 spent)
One of the cheapest items on the list is the pumpkin-shaped bath bomb which will turn any soak orange.
The stress of planning a Halloween party might get to you but why not relax in the bath still celebrating?
Shaped like a pumpkin, the bath bomb is perfect for anyone of any age who would like to have a quiet night in to celebrate the spooky season.
Plastic spiders (£0.99 spent)
Another item on the list that costs under a pound is an all-time classic for Halloween.
Whether you’re aiming to spookify the house or terrify a co-worker, black plastic spiders have been the perfect option for years.
Small and lifelike, it is very easy to catch others off guard with a handful of these at your disposal.
Total spend: £9.73
