Here is the weather outlook for the week ahead for Swindon residents following heavy rains that flooded parts of the town.
Heavy rains on Thursday (October 19) night caused floods which closed key roads including Queens Drive for a number of hours.
Following the floods, weather stayed relatively calm meaning that generally, most areas across Swindon that were affected were cleared over the weekend (October 21 and October 22).
Fortunately, this weather is expected to continue throughout the week according to the Met Office.
The week starts with cloudy skies from Monday, October 23 to Wednesday, October 25 with a chance of rain on both Monday and Wednesday evening.
There is a 50 percent chance of light rain at around 9pm on Monday which increases to an 80 percent chance of heavier rain at 11pm. Chances of rain drop to a 40 percent chance of lighter rain in the morning of Tuesday.
There is then a 50 percent chance of light rain overnight from about 4 pm on Wednesday evening.
The second half of the week will then start to look slightly better with bits of sunshine in the early afternoons accompanied by a chance of light rain.
Temperatures across the week are staying around the 10°.
