Three fire crews were required to extinguish a blaze at a Swindon home.
This incident occurred at around 5.15pm on Thursday when a fire broke out at a semi-detached house on Greenlands Road in Stratton St Margaret.
The blaze started in the ground-floor living room and took firefighters just under an hour to extinguish.
Of the three fire crews that attended, two were from Stratton and one came from Swindon.
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to Greenlands Road, Stratton St Margaret at 5.15pm yesterday.
“Three fire crews attended, two from Stratton and one from Swindon, and six breathing apparatus wearers used two hose reel jets and a main jet to extinguish the fire.
“Our stop was at 6.14pm.
“Volunteers from the British Red Cross emergency response team based at Swindon fire station also attended to give support to the occupants.”
