A man was left with bite wounds after two suspects allegedly encouraged a dog to attack him outside a Swindon library.
At around 12.10pm on October 12 two men appeared to “coax” a Doberman to attack another man, who had been stood outside the Beechcroft Road library in Upper Stratton.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was reportedly bitten twice during the incident and suffered cut wounds to the leg.
Officers launched an investigation and have now released CCTV images of two men and a dog in connection to the alleged attack.
PC Josh Pinsent said: “Incidents of this nature are completely unacceptable and will be investigated fully so those involved can be dealt with robustly.
“I’d urge anyone who is concerned for the welfare or dangers of a dog, to please get in touch.”
Anyone who has information in relation to the incident has been urged to report it to police on 101 and quote crime reference number 54230108336.
