Another food outlet could be on its way to serve workers at a business park in planning applications.

Liden: A plan has been submitted by MGF Facilities management services to build two detached three-bed houses, both with a garage on a green plot at the end of one of the culs-de-sac making up Matley Moor. The houses would take up some of the three parking spaces outside number 14 and would be backing onto woodland.

Rodbourne: A family home with four bedrooms could become a seven-bedroom student-style shared house of multiple occupation for seven people.  Anders Homes Ltd wants permission to convert 65 Montagu Street into an HMO. The three bedrooms on the first floor and the bedroom in the loft space would be kept, but the downstairs living and dining rooms at the front of the house could be converted into three single bedrooms.

South Marston: A large bed and breakfast business could be turned into two separate houses if a plan by Mr and Mrs R & J Sansum is approved. Currently, the old Post Office on Thornhill Road is used for paying guests – the main building is the old post office, with a two-storey extension with bedrooms at the rear. The new proposal is to separate the new extension building by a new wall from the main building, creating two joined houses. The old post office building would be a come a four-bedroom house, and the new house would have two bedrooms, one of which would be on the second floor above the Old Post Office’s utility room and entrance hall.
