A High Street shop will be celebrating its 30th anniversary with discounts, prizes and a fashion event this week.

The Sue Ryder shop, which opened its doors in Cricklade in 1993, will be holding the celebration event on Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 6pm to 8pm.

Shoppers will be treated to prosecco and festive treats as they browse an array of glamorous party attire marked at 30 per cent off.

A raffle will also be taking place with some great prizes up for grabs including a meal for two at the White Hart, a gift from Costa and many more.

Commenting on the exciting evening of discounted fashion, Jo Withey, Cricklade Shop Manager, said: “We have enjoyed a fantastic 30 years of business here in Cricklade and decided the best way to celebrate was to hold a fun and vibrant discount event for all our loyal customers.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all staff past and present who have contributed to the success of the shop over the years and to our dedicated volunteers, who we simply couldn’t operate without.

The charity shop raises money for Sue Ryder which supports people through terminal illnesses and bereavement.

The charity offers a patient-led approach to help give those with terminal illnesses the choice and control over their care.

“We look forward to raising more money for Sue Ryder and welcoming even more customers to the shop going forward, and hope that the next thirty years are as prosperous," added Jo.
