A woman was allegedly pushed off her scooter by a man in Swindon before he proceeded to rob her.

The incident occurred at around 6.05am on October 30 in the Cambria Bridge subway, near GWR Park, when the woman in her 40s was allegedly shoved over by a man on a pushbike.

As the woman fell to the ground, the man got off of his bike, stood over her and rummaged through her pockets, say police.

During the incident, the woman's pockets were ripped and some of her hair was pulled out.

The man left with the woman's Samsung Galaxy A04S and a black e-scooter with 'LIFE' written in green on the side.

He allegedly made off in the direction of Sheppard Street and Culvery Court on his bike, whilst pushing the scooter along.

Police say that the suspect is described as a young white male who is approximately 5ft 4/5ft 5 inches tall, wearing all black and a black half-face balaclava.
