Swindon Borough Council is consulting the public about car parking in the town centre and how it can be improved.

Members of the public that use the town centre for car parking have until November 29 to complete a survey.

The council is asking for people to provide it with their "parking preferences and attitudes".

You can access the survey at www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/ParkingFutureServicesSurvey.

Councillor Chris Watts, Swindon Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for the Environment and Transport, said: “The survey is part of a wider programme of resident engagement as we look to take on board their feedback to improve services.

"Meaningful engagement with residents is the cornerstone of our ambition to ensure people are fully involved in shaping the future.

“This survey will be used to help us with making improvements to our car parks, prioritising where we spend our parking budget and helping us to make future decisions on parking provision and accessibility in the town."
