Supermarket shoppers in Swindon who reportedly tried to leave without paying for their goods allegedly assaulted one of the staff who stopped them.
Police say two women entered the Lidl at Greenbridge Retail Park at around 3.40pm on October 8 and concealed items in their bags.
They then went through the tills and asked for the price of a separate item.
At this point, a man joined the pair and they assaulted a shop assistant who challenged them.
Police have released CCTV images of three people they would like to speak to about this incident, and are appealing for information to help with their investigation.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “If you know who these people pictured are, or have information that could help with our enquiries please contact us on 1010 quoting reference number 54230106748.”
