POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a dog died in a hit-and-run in Cirencester.
The incident took place at around 5.10pm on the A417 Grove Lane near to the Norman Arch Gate House entrance for Abbey Grounds Park in Cirencester on Wednesday, November 8.
The dog had been on a lead at the time and the driver did not stop at the scene.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened, has dashcam footage or any other information which could assist with enquiries.
Information can be provided to the police by completing a form on Gloucestershire Police's website quoting incident 402 of November 8.
