At 5.40pm, Wiltshire Police received reports of anti-social behaviour in Phelps Parade.
There were allegedly children aged between 13 and 15 years old, throwing items of rubbish at shop and residents windows.
There were then further reports of anti-social behaviour at 8.28pm which is said by Wiltshire Police to be “youth related”.
This second report is said to have taken place in the area of The Pippin.
A number of parents were then contacted regarding the behaviour of the children involved and were advised by police to take some parent responsibility for them
PCSO Mark Cook of the Calne Neighbourhood Team said: “Later this week, Calne Neighbourhood officers will be conducting visits to the home addresses of youths involved in the reports of anti-social behaviour.
“Officers will be conferring with them and their parents regarding their actions.
“Our reports of anti-social behaviour have remained low for several months, and we will be working hard behind the scenes to continue to keep it this way.
“We will be supporting our businesses and residents in the town centre with additional patrols over the coming weeks.”
