National Pizza Week: The best pizza restaurants in and around Swindon

Taking place from November 20 to 26, the week is organised by the Pizza, Pasta & Italian Food Association to celebrate businesses involved with the Italian food industry.

Here are some of the best restaurants to enjoy some delicious pizza at in and around Swindon, according to Tripadvisor reviews.

Pizzeria 720

Pizzeria 720 is number five on the list and is located at Lake 6 at Cotswold Water Park.

It has a perfect five-star rating across 56 reviews and is praised for the quality of its pizza with one visitor describing it as the best they had ever had.

The pizzeria is an open-sided tent perfect for those enjoying watersports who need a quick bite afterwards.

La Strada

The fourth-place position on this list is held by La Strada which is located in Broad Hinton.

The restaurant has been commended for its friendly staff and quick service. One even described the service as perfect.

Fratello's

Number three on the list is the well-loved Fratello’s which is along Victoria Road.

One user said: “The food was delicious, they did sizeable portions, and lots of delicious options. The service is wonderful. The waitresses were super friendly and helpful. If I lived round the corner and not Sheffield, this would be my regular Italian.”

Da Vinci

The second restaurant on the list is Da Vinci Restaurant which is on Fleet Street.

The restaurant has only received one rating below five stars in well over a year and has been commended for the quality of the food as well as the atmosphere.

Mario's

The number one spot is taken by Mario's which is located on Wood Street in Old Town lands itself as the third best restaurant in Swindon on the Trip Advisor website.

One Trip Advisor user described the restaurant as “the best Italian in Swindon without a doubt” and even claimed he had tried all of them and confirmed that this is the best.
