Concerns have been raised about parking at schools Swindon.
Police say they are aware of “a number of” reports about the problems occurring at drop-off and pick-up times near St Mary’s School and Bradon Forest School in The Peak, Purton.
Officers are using various measures to address this, including developing a Problem Orientated Policing Plan which sees the force work with partner agencies at the council and the schools themselves to look at managing or resolving problems on a long-term basis.
Police Community Support Officer Mo Beasley said: “There are no quick fixes to this.
"We are working with Purton Parish Council, Wiltshire Council, GreenSquareAccord, St Mary's School, Bradon Forest School, local residents and Wiltshire parking enforcement team, looking into the issues surrounding parking during school drop off and pick up at The Peak in Purton.
“So far meetings have been held and surveys have been given to residents to gain feedback.
“This is just the start, as all agencies and partners have completed a lot behind the scenes and there will be more to come so watch this space.”
