A popular store at the Swindon Designer Outlet is set to close today.
Mountain Warehouse has been a longstanding fixture in the Rodbourne retail village and is moving to a new unit there soon.
Signs have been up for months warning of a closure but it was only this week that the exact date was revealed.
On Monday signs which read “everything must go” and “closing down for relocation” were displayed alongside a countdown that stated: “Only 2 days to go!”
The shop sells equipment for hiking, camping, skiing, cycling, running and fitness, and has seen its stock reduced in price in recent months.
Mountain Warehouse will make the short move to the bigger unit opposite its current home, which will offer more space for stock and supplies.
It will take the former spot of sportswear shop Puma which recently moved into a different unit nearby itself.
Despite the new hoardings and confirmed closure, the exact date for the relaunch is not yet known.
