A residential area of Swindon has been left without electricity following a power cut today.
Several Westlea households around and including Stancombe Park Street have had no power since 1.20pm on Wednesday afternoon after an unexpected power cut occurred.
Other affected streets include Feather Wood, Fox Wood and Westlea Drive with the section of the network affected by this interruption supplying four houses in the Westlea area of town.
Of these, 30 customers have been left completely powerless with electricity in the area not expected to return until 7pm on Wednesday afternoon.
A spokesperson from SSEN said: “We’re sorry for the loss of supply, we currently have a fault affecting the area.
“Our engineers are working hard to get the power back on as quickly as they can.”
