A teenager has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Park North.
A 17-year-old has been quizzed by police after the incident on Thursday, November 23.
It saw a man in his 20s robbed of his bike and suffer stab wounds which were not life-threatening.
The teenager has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, robbery and possession of a blade and has been released on conditional bail.
The injured man has since been discharged from hospital.
At the time, a section around Malmesbury Gardens was taped off by officers while they investigated.
A resident told the Adver: "I saw police walking around last night and we thought something big had happened but didn't know what."
She was shocked when she heard the reason for such a sizeable police presence: "It's a little bit worrying, and that it happened so early in the evening.
"When I walk home from work, it's dark and I often see people walking around with their faces covered by masks, or riding around on bikes."
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We continue to appeal to the public for information about the assault, if you have information or witnessed what took place, please contact us on 101 quoting reference 54230124454.”
