Fans of a Swindon Town legend queued for over an hour and a half to meet him at a book signing in the town.
Chris Kamara appeared at Bert's Books on November 23 to sign copies of his new book, 'My Unbelievable Life'.
Fans of the former Town midfielder, who made more than 200 appearances during his two spells at the County Ground, queued outside the shop for over an hour and a half.
Fans were delighted when Kammy arranged a later train and agreed to stay for an extra two hours to meet those waiting.
Michael Ritchie, manager at Bert’s Bookshop praised Kammy for his kindness and generosity in staying for longer
“Very nice of him to come, good for him to support local businesses because obviously he has the link to the town and he seemed like a really nice bloke," the 35-year-old said.
“Kammy was very chatty with people, so they got a good afternoon out of it.
“It is always nice, it helps us get a little bit more attention that is not the main reason, the main reason we do it is for our customers.
“It is the fans that help him and he was very grateful that people had shown up for him.”
