Flood alerts have been issued across Swindon and Wiltshire with heavy rain forecast for Thursday.
Three flood alerts were issued for the Swindon area in the afternoon of Wednesday, December 6.
There are alerts in place for the River Thames and its small tributaries from Calcutt to Lechlade, and tributaries on the Upper River Thames above Cricklade.
There is also an alert in place in the Upper Bristol Avon area, which covers Royal Wootton Bassett, Malmesbury, Chippenham, and Melksham.
The first and second alerts state that property flooding is not expected but river levels remain high. Heavy rain may affect low-lying footpaths which the public are advised to avoid.
The third warns that river levels are high as a result of overnight rainfall and will affect the Bristol Avon, Tetbury Avon, Sherston Avon and Dauntsey Brook
River levels are expected to rise as heavy rain is expected throughout Thursday.
The website also states that flooding at Reybridge near Chippenham is possible from around 6am.
There is also a flood alert in place for Upper River Avon and tributaries which include Malmesbury and Chippenham.
There are currently 13 flood alerts in place for the whole of Wiltshire.
