Spectacular light displays are amazing visitors to the Town Gardens in the run-up to Christmas.
The colourful outdoor attraction, which began in 2021 to lift spirits after lockdown, returned earlier this month and is being brought to life by light art pioneers Luminism.
It also includes The Lantern Walk, a community engagement project and collaboration with local schools.
Crowds of people have wrapped up warm and ventured out to enjoy the stunning sights after sunset.
Tickets for time slots which are allocated every 15 minutes nightly until December 24, can be bought for £12 (adults) or £7 (children aged five to 17) online at https://towngardens-swindon.co.uk/enchanted-gardens-light-trail-2023/
This year, South Swindon Parish Council partnered with the Friends of Old Town to introduce a food and beverage area surrounding the historic bandstand, which includes a fully licensed bar provided by Old Town pub, The Tuppenny, along with other local vendors.
An accessible quiet evening will be offered on Monday, December 11 where those with additional needs, who will benefit from a quieter experience, can enjoy the trail with reduced crowds and noise.
