Wiltshire Police’s specialist operations team has seized a car after a driver with mud-caked windows pulled out in front of officers.
In a social media released on Saturday, the team said the driver was spotted just south of the county, and could not see a thing when they pulled out due to “restricted view from windows covered in mud”.
When the police team attempted to stop the dangerous motorist, the driver gave false details and tried to run away.
“Detained. Car seized. Driver already disqualified and off to court again,” said a spokesperson for Wiltshire specialist operations.
Wiltshire Police is now urging motorists to remember the importance of road safety when driving.
