A WOMAN found dead in Swindon after going missing was a "brilliant mother" and "beautiful friend", her loved ones have said.
After they grew concerned for her welfare, Danielle Geraghty was reported missing by her family on Wednesday, December 13.
Danielle's body was found after searches in a garden off Lennox Drive in Walcot on Thursday.
Bobbi Nicholles, Danielle's friend, has set up a GoFundMe to help the mother's family pay for her funeral following her unexpected death.
She said: "We just want people to know how loved she was, she had an 8-year-old daughter who she would have done anything and everything for, she’s always lived in the Walcot area so it’s a very sad time for the community.
"She was just a beautiful person inside and out and would have helped anyone."
Bobbi continued: "My beautiful friend Danielle’s body was found yesterday morning in Walcot, her family and friends are in absolute pieces and it has come as a huge shock to us all.
“Danielle was loud, bubbly and lived for a good time, she always brought a smile into the room and with her around it was never a dull moment.
“With it being Christmas around the corner and this coming so sudden her family don’t have the funds for a proper burial.
“She was a brilliant mother who always had her daughter's best interests at heart and was just lush to be around all the time.
"If we could all come together to donate and give this beautiful woman the send-off she deserves it would mean so much to her friends and family."
If you would like to donate towards Danielle's funeral you can visit the fundraising page on https://gofund.me/c12e2968.
At the time of writing £1,640 of the £3,000 asked for had been donated by friends, family and members of the community.
Danielle's family have given their blessing for Bobbi to start the fundraising page.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that they had informed Danielle's family and that although they don't believe her death was suspicious they are still investigating to establish the facts.
