POLICE have issued a public appeal as they seek to find two men wanted in connection with an alleged assault and robbery.
A man in his 40s was said to have been punched to the floor by two men during a violent incident at Wrag Barn Golf Club near Highworth on October 9.
The attackers are then believed to have taken a silver chain from around the victim's neck.
To help with the investigation into this incident, Wiltshire Police has issued a CCTV image of two men they would like to talk to.
In a statement on the Chippenham Police Facebook page, a police spokesperson said: "Can you help us identify these men?
"We are keen to speak to them in connection with an incident at Wrag Barn Golf Club on October 9."
One of the men in the image is wearing a black t-shirt with a distinctive image on it and black trousers, he also has short dark hair.
The other is wearing a blue jacket, black trousers and white trainers, he has light blonde/ginger hair.
Both men are white.
The spokesperson added: "If you can help, please call 101 and quote crime reference number 54230108690.
"Alternatively, call CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
Update: Wiltshire Police has confirmed that the two people have made themselves known to the force following the public appeal.
"They will be contacted in due course as part of the ongoing enquiries into this allegation," a spokesperson said.
