A drug driver has been banned from the roads for more than two years.
Krystian Jackowski, of Cambria Place in Swindon, was sentenced at Swindon Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The 27-year-old pleaded guilty to four charges.
He drove a Mercedes Benz along Cricklade Street in Old Town on June 11, 2023, without a third party insurance policy in place and while having 385 micrograms of cocaine per litre of blood in his system.
Having trace amounts (<10 micrograms) of the Class A drug per litre of blood in one's body while behind the wheel is legal, but anything more than that is considered to be a serious offence.
Jackowski was more than 38 times the legal limit when stopped by police.
At the time, the grooves of the tread patterns of the tyres fitted to the rear near side and outside wheels of the vehicle were not of a depth of at least 1mm.
The defendant has been disqualified from driving for 28 months, fined £461, and ordered to pay £85 in court costs.
