Japanese professional wrestling superstars will visit Swindon this weekend to entertain families as part of a local wrestling promotion's supershow.
Stars from the prestigious wrestling promotion DragonGate - Shun Skywalker and Dragon Kid - will be taking part in British Kingdom Pro Wrestling's Battle Kingdom 2024.
It takes place on Saturday at the Deanery Theatre in Wichelstowe.
The two stars will face off in a match made possible by a new partnership between the Swindon-based company and DragonGate, which will see an exchange of stars, including Swindon stars wrestling on shows in Japan.
Tickets are available on britishkingdompro.com
Battle Kingdom 2024 will also see a huge match to crown a new British Kingdom Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion as Swindon’s own Saime Sahin battles Bristol’s Chris Bronson.
Saime, a former two-time Heavyweight Champion and trainer at the promotion’s Swindon-based wrestling school, is looking to secure the win in his hometown.
David Sharp is the founder and promoter of British Kingdom Pro Wrestling, which was rebranded from 4 Front Wrestling (4FW)
“British Kingdom Pro Wrestling is an evolution of 4FW. People underestimate how respected British professional wrestling is," he said.
"International talent wants to come and work here, and we want our company to attract the best wrestlers on the planet."
