Traffic lights and road barriers have been left mangled after a car was involved in a smash on Wednesday.
A Nissan X-Trail crashed into the barriers at the pedestrian crossing near the Co-Op on Queens Drive just before 8.40am on Wednesday.
It is the second time in weeks the barriers have been damaged by a crash in that location.
Wiltshire Police said that no injuries were reported.
A spokesperson for the force added: “Recovery was arranged and the council have been informed.”
The damage from the crash could still be seen on Wednesday afternoon with police tape covering the mangled road furniture.
This is the second time in under a month that a car crashed into the barriers on Queen’s Drive after a suspected drunk driver was arrested after a crash on December 20.
That incident happened at around 5.25am at the Somerville Road junction, near the Sussex Place parade of shops.
Police and an ambulance were called to the scene and one person was taken to Great Western Hospital with injuries.
The driver involved in the crash, a woman in her 20s, was arrested by the police on suspicion of drink driving.
The road reopened in time for the rush-hour traffic.
