Police have located a "vulnerable" missing man from Swindon following a desperate search.
Mario Pereira had been reported missing from Broad Street after being last seen at 9.45am on Friday, January 12, walking along Manchester Road.
The 72-year-old was heading towards Swindon Bus Station and was pulling along a red suitcase before being helped by a member of the public who carried the luggage for him.
Wiltshire Police released CCTV footage showing Mario dressed in black as part of an appeal to the public in order to locate the pensioner.
The force said that he may appear confused or upset and that it was likely that Mario may have boarded the 401 bus at the bus station to London Heathrow.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson at the time said: “We are appealing for information about a vulnerable 72-year old man, Mario Pereira, who has been reported missing from Broad Street in Swindon.
“We would like to hear from the well-meaning member of the public who helped Mario with his luggage.
“We are also appealing for information from anyone who has seen Mario or have any other information that might help locate him.
