A police helicopter has been used to search for a 33-year-old Swindon man after he had been reported missing for the second time in just two days.
He has since been found.
Daniel Smart, from the Eldene area, was last heard from before being found at around 11.30am on Saturday, January 20.
Wiltshire Police updated the public at 8.41pm of the same day that Daniel had been found.
This was the second time in successive days he has been reported missing. His family were extremely concerned for his welfare.
Wiltshire Police put a previous appeal out for information regarding Mr Smart on Friday, January 19 after he had not been seen since 2.30am of the same day.
Officers later confirmed at around 5.30pm of the same day that Mr Smart had been found safe.
But less than 24 hours later, he had been reported missing once again.
Mr Smart was described by Wiltshire Police as being a white male about 6ft 2in tall, with dark brown hair.
He was thought to be wearing black cargo trousers, a blue t-shirt and a black windbreaker, police have said.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said at the time: “If you see Daniel or have any information that could help us locate him please contact us on 999 quoting the log reference 83 of today (January, 20).”
Police guidance states a missing person will not be in trouble and that it is not wasting officers' time to report someone you are concerned about.
