Swindon schoolchildren took to the streets of Old Town to wish King Charles a speedy recovery from his ongoing health issues.
Buckingham Palace announced on Wednesday, January 17, that King Charles III would undergo a corrective procedure this week after being diagnosed with an enlarged prostate.
The news came just 90 minutes after Kensington Palace said Kate was in hospital following abdominal surgery.
But the concerning news hasn't stopped Queen Camilla from continuing with her royal visit to Swindon, where she was greeted by floods of 'get well soon' cards for her husband.
Camilla spent several hours in the town visiting a domestic abuse support service refuge and celebrating the 175th anniversary of one of Swindon's oldest shops, Deacon & Son.
Children from schools in Swindon lined Wood Street waving Union flags and waiting for the Queen to arrive for her visit to Deacons.
Camilla greeted scores of people with handshakes, smiles and waves, and even spoke to many of the children and other well-wishers on her way into the building.
The get well soon cards had been hand-drawn by children from a local primary school, and many also carried bouquets of flowers to give to the Queen.
