A Swindon café has closed with immediate effect after the building it was housed in was listed for sale.
The building which housed Cafénest, on Morley Street, has been listed for sale.
Loveday Chartered Surveyors and Property Consultants said the building has an asking price of £97,500, with a rateable value of £5,500 as of April 1, 2023.
Cafénest served a variety of drinks from hot beverages to milkshakes and everything in between.
The property is officially assessed as "Shop & Premises" and is located close to the town centre, adjacent to the newly constructed Premier Inn.
With two onsite car parking spaces, the whole property covers 477 square metres.
Cafénest was very popular with town residents and was a busy destination to pick up a coffee or a bite to eat.
“The coffee here is as good as good as the best coffee I have had in Swindon, and the smoothie bowls are really yummy too,” said customer Kate Anderson.
It held a five-out-of-five food hygiene rating at the time of its closure as well as several full-mark Google reviews.
