A pensioner was threatened with a crowbar after burglars broke into his property and stole a mobile phone.
Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident which is said to have taken place on Tuesday, February 6 in The Spa in Melksham.
Two men allegedly entered the property at approximately 1.55pm and after threatening the man in his 70s with the weapon, ran along Bath Road in the direction of Melksham Oak School.
The first suspect is described as a male approximately 5ft 11ins tall, of medium to stocky build, wearing black hat, yellow long sleeved reflective jacket and dark trousers.
The second suspected is described as being approximately 5ft 6ins tall, of thin build and wearing a dark coloured jacket.
The pair are both said top have been wearing face masks when they entered the property but may have removed them when they left.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police wrote: “We are appealing for anyone who was passing the area who may have dash cam footage, or anyone with CCTV or doorbell footage which could assist.
