Police had grown ‘extremely concerned’ for a woman from Swindon who had been missing for several days.
An urgent public appeal for information on the whereabouts of Jay Paxton, 36, had been issued on Sunday, February 18, she has since been found.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said at the time: “She has been missing since around 4pm on Wednesday (14/02), and we are extremely concerned about her welfare.”
Jay was described as having blonde shoulder length hair (shaved on one side), and of medium build.
Before being found, he was last seen wearing a blue Barbour jacket, blue jeans and wearing Vans. She was also carrying a brown shoulder bag.
The spokesperson added: “We are urgently appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of a woman who is missing from the Swindon area.
“Jay has links to the town centre and north Swindon.
“If you can help us to locate Jay please call us on 101 quoting log number 54240018859.”
