The cheapest place to get petrol in Swindon has been revealed - as prices are on the rise from last week.
Nationally, the average price of petrol is 144.01p in the UK, nearly 2p up from last week while diesel is nearly 1p at 151.8p.
According to the RAC, prices are forecast to continue rising but are still much lower than the large peak in July 2022, when petrol reached an eye-watering average of 191.43p nationally.
Like last week, the cheapest fuel in Swindon is to be found at BP on Queens Drive for 141.8p, as of Monday morning.
However, this is 0.8 pence per litre more expensive than it was last Monday.
But in second place is now Breeze Old Town, with petrol at 141.9p, which is a penny cheaper than Sainsbury’s in third place with 142.9p petrol.
Also at 142.9p is Esso Fleming Way, and Esso Dorcan Way, which are in joint 4th place.
Meanwhile, the cheapest diesel can be found at the major supermarkets, at Sainsbury’s for 150.9p, and in second place at Asda Swindon Haydon and Asda Swindon West for 151.7p.
Applegreen Oasis diesel costs 151.8p in 4th place, while Tesco is in 5th with diesel for 151.9p.
