A teenager has been arrested after an attack in an alleyway on Valentine's Day.
The 16-year-old has since been bailed after being quizzed over an incident said to have happened near Tin Pit in Marlborough.
It comes after an appeal was made to the public regarding the incident.
In the original appeal, Wiltshire Police said the assault had taken place at around 3.15pm, and involved four teenage males.
It was also said to have taken place in an alleyway leading from Tin Pit into Rabley Wood View.
The original appeal was posted on February 16.
Wiltshire Police updated the public on the assault through the Marlborough Police Facebook account on Wednesday, February 28.
A spokesperson also stated that a potential suspect has been identified.
They said: “Another potential suspect has also been formally identified and will be dealt with in due course.
“We would like to thank the community for their assistance in this investigation.”
