A Swindon woman has been sentenced for drug driving.
Emma Edwards, 32, of Ferndale Road, Swindon, pleaded guilty to two counts of drug driving and possession of a class A drug.
This followed her appearance at Swindon Magistrates' Court on February 27.
On October 7, 2023, a roads policing officer spotted Edwards driving an Audi A4 on Pinehurst Road.
She appeared to be driving at excess speed and the vehicle had no MOT.
A roadside drug wipe test was carried out which tested positive for cocaine.
Cocaine was also seized from Edwards and she was arrested.
Edwards was disqualified from driving for 12 months, ordered to pay £85 Crown Prosecution Service costs, a £48 surcharge and fined £120.
