The cheapest place to get petrol in Swindon has been revealed - and local prices have again risen from last week.
Nationally, the average price of petrol is still 145p in the UK, the same as last week while diesel is up nearly 1p at 152.57p.
According to the RAC, prices are forecast to continue rising - and they have risen a lot since the year 2000 when a litre of petrol cost 80.35p.
Petrol
Like last week, the cheapest fuel in Swindon is to be found at BP on Queens Drive for 141.9p, as of Monday morning.
This is 0.1p per litre more expensive than it was last Monday.
But in second place is now Asda Swindon West, with petrol at 142.7p, which is a little cheaper than Sainsbury’s in third place with 142.9p petrol.
Also at 142.9p is Esso Dorcan Way in 4th place while Asda Swindon Haydon is in 5th at 143.7p.
Diesel
Meanwhile, the cheapest diesel can be found at the major supermarkets, at Asda Swindon Haydon and Asda Swindon West for 151.7p.
This is 0.8 pence per litre more expensive than it was last week.
In second place is Applegreen Oasis with 151.8p diesel and third is Sainsbury's Bridgemead for 151.9p.
Lastly, Tesco Swindon Extra and BP Queens Drive cost 151.9p in 4th place, while Esso is in 5th at 152.9p.
