Busted's Charlie Simpson has announced he is coming to Swindon for a special gig.
Simpson is coming to Swindon for a DJ set at the MECA.
The pop icon, who also won the Masked Singer in 2023, will be coming to the popular venue on Saturday, October 19.
The event starts at 7pm, and will see Simpson play an array of 00s anthems during his set.
Residents of Swindon are able to book standard tickets for £20 with an option to buy VIP tickets for £60, which will allow members of the public to meet the pop star.
Tickets go on sale on Friday (March 8), and are available from https://www.mecaswindon.co.uk/events-tickets/charlie-simpson-from-busted-00s-anthems/
A spokesperson for MECA wrote on their website: “One of the UK’s most recognisable pop-rock icons is bringing the ultimate noughties nostalgia pop party to Swindon this coming October, with Busted & Fightstar frontman, the legendary Charlie Simpson taking to the decks at MECA, Swindon!”
This is not the only celebrity that the MECA is hosting this year with Gok Wan also making an appearance in the summer to DJ as well.
Busted formed in 2000 and are still together to this day, despite the rest of Busted temporarily joining forces with McFly to form McBusted, while Charlie Simpson pursued his solo career.
