McDonald's is one of the most popular food chains in the world and has a place in the hearts of British people.
Those living in Swindon are no different and with seven restaurants in and around the town there is plenty of choice for fans of favourites like the Big Mac and Chicken McNuggets.
But which one is the best? Here we take a look at the rankings according to Google reviews...
7 – West Swindon District Centre
The lowest-rated restaurant out of all the McDonald's in the area according to Google is located inside the West Swindon at the District Centre, close to the Link Centre.
It currently has a rating of 3.5 stars out of 5.
6 - Orbital Shopping Park
The next restaurant on the list is located at the Orbital Shopping Park in North Swindon.
It currently has 3.7 with 1,167 reviews.
The most recent review was five stars and was written in January, praising the speed with which the food was made.
5 – Town centre
The McDonald's in the town centre is located along Canal Walk. It has a rating of 3.8 and is only 0.2 stars away from being the highest-ranking restaurant.
4 – Greenbridge Retail Park
Revamped in 2019, the Greenbridge branch also has a rating of 3.8 but has managed to beat the number five spot due to the fact that it has almost 500 more reviews than the town centre restaurant.
It is in competition with the likes of KFC nearby.
3 – Cockleberry Roundabout
This restaurant is one of two located along Great Western Way has a rating of 3.9 with more than 2,000 reviews.
The most recent review on Google said: “Nice restaurant, clean with a good service.”
2 – Bridgemead
The runner-up is also on Great Western Way and has the same rating of 3.9 as its counterpart, but boasts more reviews.
1 – Watchfield
The best McDonald's in the Swindon area is on Majors Road in Watchfield and has a rating of four, with almost 2,000 reviews on Google from hungry customers on the A420.
A recent customer left a review claimed it was the best McDonald's they had ever been to.
