The Cross Keys Inn

We will admit, this one is on the outskirts of Swindon in Royal Wootton Bassett, but it deserves its place at the top of the list after excellent reviews.

Based on Royal Wootton Bassett's High Street, The Cross Keys Inn has been rated 4.5 stars on TripAdvisor, with 101 excellent reviews.

It's officially the oldest pub in town, and as well as serving traditional pub food it even offers a bottomless brunch.

The Drink Valley

For any mothers out there who are sick of having a roast every Sunday and want something a bit different, The Drink Valley might be the place to go.

Offering a wide selection of drinks and curries from Fleet Square, the pub is one of the very few in Swindon that can say it has a five-star TripAdvisor rating.

The pub is offering a Mother's Day brunch this Sunday, and a free glass of wine or prosecco comes with every meal.

The Hop

Set in beautiful Old Town, The Hop on Devizes Road is a great place to pick up a Sunday Roast.

Rated 4.5 stars and with 22 excellent reviews, one customer pointed out that: "Food has become a big part of this pub so top marks to the chef."

The Tuppenny

Just across the road from The Hop on Devizes Road, The Tupenny is another great choice to take your mum to this Sunday.

The Tuppenny regularly hosts live music and owners Jamie, Hayley, Linda and Ed are as friendly as they come.

The Wyvern Tavern

The Wyvern on Bridge Street in Swindon is a classic British pub so you can't go wrong really.

With a 4.5 rating and 27 excellent reviews, it seems like a pretty safe bet with a great relaxed atmosphere, quick service and a good menu.
