When police conduct raids of properties in Swindon they expect to discover drugs, cash and weapons - but their most recent find was unexpected.
Officers from the Swindon, North, East and Rural neighbourhood policing team conducted a search for drugs in a property and discovered what appeared to be a blade hidden within a key.
They shared a picture on their social media page to highlight some of the items they find during their searches.
A spokesperson for the neighbourhood team said: "Well this gives a whole new meaning to getting a key cut.
"Found by the team during a recent search for drugs in a property, and an excellent example of why we have to take great care."
