A Swindon brother and sister are celebrating success at a national hairdressing award.
Josh Goldsworthy, of Goldsworthy’s Salon near the Brunel Centre, has been named Salon Stylist of the Year at the annual HAIR Magazine Awards.
His sister, Sophie-Rose Goldsworthy, was a finalist for Best Colourist.
Josh said: “I’m delighted to be bringing this trophy back to the salon.
“The HAIR Awards are judged by consumers which makes this award even more special as my clients are really important to me, and everything I do is to ensure they have a great experience and leave us feeling great.”
The pair have steered Goldsworthy’s Salon to be a multi-award winning group with three branches in Wiltshire after it was founded by their parents in 1961.
They previously won Salon Group of the Year at the Fellowship Hairdressing Awards, and Wales and South West Hairdresser of the Year and the L’Oreal Colour Trophy.
The salon has a 4.3 star rating on Google.
One customer review said: “I had the most incredible cut and blow dry with Sophie. Attention to detail to perfection.
“Sophie completely took the time to understand how I liked to have my hair and truly exceeded expectations.”
The award was presented in London by celebrity hairdresser Michael Douglas who has appeared on Gogglebox and the One Show.
