The fire service attended a three vehicle crash on the M4 this morning.
The crash between junctions 16 (Swindon) and 17 (Chippenham) is thought to have involved two cars and a van.
One car was a BMW, and was sighted as heavily damaged beside the road.
In a statement, a Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said:
"We were called to the M4 eastbound between J17 and J17 at 8.23am this morning (27 March) after a car collided with the central reservation.
"Two crews from Chippenham attended but no-one was trapped and no action from us was needed, so our stop was at 8.51am and we have now left the scene."
Also in attendance were ambulance and police, who have been contacted for comment.
