Flooding means that trains between Swindon and Bristol, and Swindon and Chippenham may be cancelled.
Great Western Railway (GWR) is reporting that due to flooding between Swindon and Bristol Parkway one of the lines is closed.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day, with train services running through these stations potentially cancelled or delayed.
The flooding has been reported at Chipping Sodbury, resulting in one of the tracks being closed to trains and meaning only one line is currently available.
Trains will continue to run, but will incur delays as they use the one track that is available.
Meanwhile, flooding has also closed lines between Swindon and Chippenham.
Floodwater came over the rail head resulting in a line being closed near Dauntsey.
However, GWR reports that train services running through these stations are now running normally.
The flooding comes after heavy rain last night, with some flood alerts in place around Swindon.
One flood alert is in place to the north west of Swindon at the River Ray. It will affect West Swindon to above Water Eaton.
However, none of the alerts near the Town have been escalated to warnings.
Property flooding is not expected, with only flooding of low lying land and roads possible in the early morning.
