The wait for a new unique store to Swindon is over.
In February, businesswoman Hannah Ellis and her friend Emma Van Leer announced they were embarking on a new venture together - the Swindon Darts Hub.
The idea was for there to be a store that services the town's many darts players, providing all of the equipment and help they need to step up to the oche, and it will be located on Cricklade Road.
Two months later and the store held its grand opening on Saturday, April 6, with queues of people waiting outside to get in after the ceremonial ribbon cutting.
Darts star Mark Webster also popped by the store to meet people on the big day.
Owner Hannah and Emma said: "We don't even know where to start.
"A massive thank you to absolutely everyone who came down to support us. Whether you popped by, said a quick hi, bought anything, came to see us, shared our posts and all of the things.........we are so bloody grateful!
"We managed to have a phenomenal day"
They added: "We were over the moon with our special guest, Mark Webster.
"Thank you to Mark, for coming down to Swindon Darts Hub! A genuinely nice bloke and what a laugh we had!
"I also asked for the shirt off your back and you happily said yes and signed it! Don't ask you don't get!
"It was completely our pleasure and we've loved having him he's welcome anytime!!!"
You can find the Swindon Darts Hub on Facebook, Instagram, and their not-yet-active website swindondartshub.co.uk
Speaking at the time of the Swindon Darts Hub announcement, Hannah explained why she wanted to set up a store for this purpose.
"I've always been interested in darts and my best friend plays professional darts, I've always been in the scene since I played up north 18 years ago," she said.
"Recently I and a friend, Emma, thought it would be a great idea to open a one-stop shop for all dart players' needs. There isn't anything in Swindon that offers a try-before-you-buy service either.
Hannah is a successful businesswoman in the Swindon area as she also owns Ellis Printwear and The Unit gym.
Her partner in the darts venture, Emma, currently works for Network Rail as a project manager.
