A new beauty salon has opened in Swindon - and claims to be offering treatments not available elsewhere in the town.

Blissful By Claire was opened by owner, Claire Stott, in Hoopers Place in Swindon’s Old Town on Tuesday, April 2.

Claire started as a beautician at 18, having gone straight to beauty college after leaving school at 16, and co-owning another nearby business for 15 years.

She said: “I am so excited.

“It has been hard work, putting things up at the last minute in the Easter holidays, but totally worth it.

“I feel very calm here. When you come in it is really calm and peaceful, and I am looking forward to what is to come.”

She is confident that a strong clientele built over 30 years in the business will see her in good stead.

“I pride myself on being not just anybody; if you ask any of my clients they all become like friends as I am very personal.”

She has decided to not offer online bookings in order to retain this personal element. “I believe in talking to somebody”, Claire said.

She also hopes that treatments not available elsewhere in Old Town, such as teeth whitening, will attract new customers.
