Police officers who have been searching for missing Salisbury woman have confirmed that a body has been found.
The 69-year-old Lynne Morrall was last seen getting off a bus in Breamore, near Downton in the south of the county, at 6.53pm on Thursday, March 21.
Detective Inspector Guy Williams said: “We know that Lynne got off the bus at Breamore - a rural area just over the border in Hampshire and about three miles to her home in Downton."
Officers have been carrying out extensive search work in the Breamore area with the assistance of a drone unit, specialist dogs and water resources.
After over two weeks of searching, Wiltshire Police has now confirmed that a body has been found on Saturday afternoon (April 6).
"Sadly, a body was discovered this afternoon, and while formal identification has not yet taken place, the family of Lynne have been informed of this latest development," said a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police.
"Our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time.
"Formal identification will take place in due course.
"Although it is early stages, we do not believe there to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death."
